Passed away in hospital on March 5th, 2016 with his family by his side, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Beverley (nee Allum), loving father of Darren (Tania) and Craig. Proud Grampa of Eric Burt and Carter and Gavin Slack. Predeceased by his parents Olive and John Slack, his brother Wayne and sister Shirley Genereux. Family and friend are invited to visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, on Thursday March 10th from 12noon until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Gary’s memory can be made to CHEO. Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of the ICU at the General Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care.

Many older members of HEO and HEO Minor will remember Gary Slack as he served for many years as the Branch Registrar.  This was in the days before computer databases and when everything was on three part cards with carbon papers.  Gary managed to keep everyone in line and the team lists all up to date.
